healthcare debate explained through simple design
This presentation by Dan Roam is a great example of why I have always maintained that the most effective graphic design is not primarily about art, creativity, style, or personal taste; it's about clarity of communication. Sometimes stick figures are the best you can do; sometimes stick figures are all you should do.

THE only problem I see with this slide show is that is simply puts that the government plan will be priced lower than health insurance... but doesn't say that the actual cost of providing care may be higher than what is being charged.
The plans in congress right now fix the insurer side, but the medical provider is still charging what prices? They are already complaining that Medicare only pays 70% of the real cost to provide care. So who ends up doing the squeezing then?
